Ezra's language has leaped forward this month. He now says "I'm thirsty." or "I want it. Water." It's reminiscent of how I learned romantic languages with the object being stated at the end of the sentence. Tonight he told me "Mimi, read this book to me."
Yes, Mimi. It's a name that at least in the short-term is synonymous with Mama. I love it. I knew a woman whose grandma name was Mimi and I admired it. Now that they've discovered it on their own it might stick. It all started with "my mommy" and "my mommy's milk" wars between the boys during the day. Ezra called it "mimi milt". And so it was - and is.
