Thirteen - part 2

A few things about thirteen months I don't want to ever forget. First, his budding language skills are in full effect. Ezra now says many words like tick tock, ball, doggie, up, eat, mama, dada, papa - I think he uses dada for Jonah, too. He knows what a cat and a dog say, and he signed multiple words just a few days ago to tell me he wanted to 'eat milk'. It is so fun to listen and watch him put his world together - and to communicate about it, too!

The more we see his personality bud the more I foresee many interesting years ahead. We were at a park a few weeks ago and he kept putting the gravel into his mouth, and I kept saying 'Out'. So, I thought I'd outwit him by tucking his hands into his bunting so his fingers were hidden. As soon as I began to gloat in my workaround, I realized that he might just dive down face first and open wide. By the time the thought was complete I glanced over and there he was, mouth open and digging in!
