Time just keeps flying by - in some respects it's great because it signals we have endured another long, blustery winter in the midwest. In every other way, however, it only reminds us how very quickly a newborn becomes and infant, and how an infant then turns quickly into a bubbly, babbling, chunky baby.
Ezra is delightful and has the most welcoming personality - he just draws you in with his big, brown eyes and long eyelashes. He has taken to "talking" like Jonah has taken to chocolate! He knows what he wants and makes a fuss if you take it away - especially toys, grass, or paper.
Speaking of paper, it should be on the record as his first "food" - he has managed to swallow some more times than I'd like to admit.
He sits up with the perfect, new-to-sitting posture - a great reminder to sit up tall and straight! He reaches for toys, transfers them from hand to hand and does not need any propping while he's sitting. If he falls, it is usually slow motion - or because an unnamed big brother came along, and well....you know the rest.
