Two and a half

Oh my. I have neglected to document the amazing growing and change in Ezra. Top on the list of the biggest changes since turning two is clearly his self-motivation to wear underwear. On the day after our big blizzard of 2010, December 13, he demanded underwear. A few accidents here and there, but nothing compared to changing a half dozen diapers a day. Within two weeks, he was wearing undies 24 hours a day - dry at night. He had one accident in bed, but otherwise will wake himself up and ask to be put on the potty. Seriously jaw-dropping abilities, and he continues in his big brothers' anatomy of having an extremely well-developed and strong bladder. We have been really lucky in that they both went dry at night right away. We recently flew to San Fransisco and it was our first flight in over five years without a diaper bag or diapers!! What a treat.

He and his brother continue to navigate brotherhood, alternating moments of sheer delight with moments of utter chaos. He's head over heels in love with his big brother. And is quick to tell him so.
