Perhaps because he is the baby, Ezra eats table food more readily than baby food. Loves, loves, loves food, especially gnawing on crusty breads and trying any meat that we are serving. He is definitely an omnivore!
He's outgoing, smiles and giggles at everyone, captivating them. This is by far one of my favorite things about this age - it brings everyone so much joy.
He is not yet crawling. He sits and spins, sits and reaches, and yogic stretches to get hard to reach toys. I've even caught him sitting and hopping, something similar to scooting only with a jump each time he gets going. He also rotates and pulls himself around to get closer, grabbing onto furniture or door jambs to get himself closer to the teething prize.
This guy cuts teeth like a pro. Since my first post on May 19 about his first teeth he has cut his two middle teeth and the upper lateral incisors have already started rearing their heads. He does this funny grinding with his two lowers and two uppers, a 'musical' underbite smirk - it's very entertaining. I'll try to get some video.
We think he has started waving hello/goodbye. He does in various situations, the outstretched 'milk' sign, a kind of self-waving. He greeted John that way last week when he got home from traveling! Very sweet hello, indeed.
