We had Ezra's 2 month well visit with our pediatrician today. Ezra while growing like a weed may not be as big as his big brother - ever. He's only 15 lb. 10 oz. and 24 1/2 inches tall at 2 months! That's the 95 -97th percentile for height and weight, and by all standards he's is doing fabulous.
After my lovely dairy-filled weekend which included thai chicken pizza, turkey and cheese sandwich and homemade mac n cheese, Ezra spoke out fervently about how his belly still isn't ready for dairy. So, I am back off dairy for a few more months. Maybe I'll sneak a caramel in my mouth sometime in the near future as I make them but otherwise I'll wait until my birthday, or later in the winter, to try again.
He is really enjoying his big brother and smiles at everything he does. It's so wonderful to watch him track Jonah's voice and movements, awe inspired by what someone not very much bigger than him can accomplish. Soon enough our baby will be trying to keep up. Let's hope it doesn't happen too soon. I'm so very much relishing this baby of ours.
